Description:

EDIT name because was brought to my attention, Sorry it is not "Winter" everywhere this time of year...but it is March :)

Borrowed swap idea from @Katier Only because i love scavenger hunts...and the first time was so much fun....lets do it again Here is the low down..info

The Details:
As part of the hunt, you will choose ten of the twenty five clues and take a photograph that meets the clue’s requirement. The clues are intentionally ambiguous. Have fun interpreting them in your own, unique way. There’s no need to ask if something is acceptable or not. What you see as the fulfillment of any listed clue is completely up to you.

In order to make it effortless for the recipient of your photos to identify the corresponding clue, you must label your photographs in some manner. You can accomplish this by writing on the back of the photo, enclosing a written list, stamping titles onto the photos themselves, creating a photo journal, whatever you choose.

Both the size of your printed photographs and how you choose to present them should reflect your overall artistic concept. Accordingly, there are no technical requirements. That said, please do your best work. This swap is open to all skill levels.

  1. Insect
  2. Ice

  3. Spider Web

  4. Tiny
  5. Ocean

Disclaimer:
Some of the clues of this hunt allow for mature subject matter. If you believe that you could potentially be offended, please refrain from joining. It is crucial that all participants maintain an open mind and are receptive to new ways of seeing the world.

I haven't done a scavenger hunt before and I love this idea.

Can there be more than one clue represented in a photograph, so long as they're identified somehow? Or is it one picture per clue we choose? I personally see this as one picture per clue but am curious what others think.

Thank you so much, Patty

Can these be photos we've already taken or do they have to be taken specifically for this swap? (It would be hard for me to photograph an insect in the Great White North these days.)

@midwestknitgirl one clue=one photo...so we will send & receive 10 photo's hope that helps

@ccap this can be photo's already taken...or taken for the hunt...yes i agree a insect might be a bit hard for the wintery folks...or maybe one frozen in time ~.~ but for the fair weather people such as myself...we have critters & insects creepy crawling year round, could be bad or good....i personally do not care for them so much

Thanks so much guys.....Hunt away!!

I'm very glad to see this open to all skill levels. I'm a novice photographer with not the best camera there is, but would love to participate!

Tynkerbelle 02/16/2011 #

@shabbypink123 as always swaps are open to all...from the novice to the pro

I always get a chuckle when i am out shooting and someone stops me and comments wow that sure is a big camera...bet it takes great pics....i nod and say yup and i ain't so bad myself ;)

It is the vision, and the ability to capture what you see...your camera is just your tool...to me this person can pick up any camera and make it work for them

I want the swaps here to be as friendly and non-intimidating as possible...i just love to shoot and share with others, and getting inspired by my partners
