Description:

It is the greatest feeling when you get a surprise in the mail! I think it is especially great for a knitter to recieve a package full of sock yarn just for them. That is why I am organizing this swap.

For this swap you will simply be sending out enough yarn for one pair of socks. Please be sure you send a sufficient amount of yarn for the socks. No one wants to get through one and a half socks only to find out that they do not have enough yarn to finish the pair. You may also send out extras with the yarn, but it is not required. You could include extra items like:

Other types of Yarn Needles Crochet Hooks Stitch Markers Stitch Holders Scissors Notepads Pens Measuring tape Patterns

and anything you may think of. Be sure to take a look at your partners profiles to check out what their favorite colors and fibers are, any allergies they may have, yarn gauge they prefer for socks, and so on.

I am going to set a minimum of $20 for this swap, as I would like everyone to recieve quality sock yarn. Please- no junk! If someone states that they do not use acrylic or other items PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE do not send them these items. I suggest sending only items you would use.

Use your imagination and HAVE FUN!

Now for the rules-

Because I am a relative "Newbie" I am allowing newbies with a completed profile and a quick email to me. I will not allow anyone with any no-sends in the last three months. You must have a completed profile and a rating of 3.5 or higher.

I am allowing two weeks for this swap, which I think should be sufficient. Please let your partner know ahead of time if you are not able to send on-time.

This is an INTERNATIONAL swap.

smp295, your package is safely ensconced in the hands of the US Postal Service. They said 5-10 day arrival time, so let's keep our fingers crossed!

How many different ways can you say:

WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW?????

Everything is absolutely AMAZING!!! I will get a pic of it soon to add to the gallery, but I have to tell a funny story first,

My youngest son, 9, was sitting at the computer when I opened the package. He turned around only when I said, "Wow, Garrett! Look at this!!" and showed him my brand, spanking new - BEAUTIFUL - Peace Fleece yarn.

"That's stupid." he said. (He's the one that purposely steers me away from the craft department whenever we go shopping.)

I said, "Since it's so stupid, I guess that means you don't want any of these?", holding up the Werthers candy.

His mouth drops to the floor, then he gets the biggest grin and just says,

"That's SWEEEEEEEEET."

I knew he'd change his tune!

Again, this is an amazing package and everything is fabulous! Thank you so much!

phockxye - I see you're still marked not sent. Just wondering if you would be late or if you're not planning to send at all.

phockxye - Have you received your sock yarn yet? It should have arrived allready.
