This is a quick and fun international swap. Remember those paper chain dolls that you made as a kid? Now is the time to figure out again how those were done! Or maybe you love paper crafts and are already an artist with paper chains. You will craft two paper chains, one to each swap partner. You can use special paper or regular one. You can leave the paper blank, color it or embellish the chain. You can aim to keep the dolls as similar as possible or cut every doll a bit differently. The theme can be victorian, naivist, gothic, nature, art nouveau, vintage, whatever you want. You can look to your partners’ profiles for inspiration, but that’s not mandatory. The doll figures don’t have to human. The chain has to be large enough, at least 23inc/53cm long. Make your best effort, do something that you would like to hang on your wall or give as a family heirloom to your grandchildren ;) Please, leave a comment if you especially want or don’t want a holiday themed chain. NOTE: Feel free to tape/glue smaller papers together if you don't have paper big enough! |
