Description:

My daughter has been asking me (repeatedly) if I would do a candy swap for kids, so here it is!

Obviously since this is in the USA the surprise will be in not knowing what you get until you open it.

This is a special swap for children so I ask that if you join, you please send, and do not disappoint the kids by not sending your package. If you can't afford, can't get to the post office to mail it, etc, please do us all a favor and do not join. I will have to be very strict on my guidelines as my daughter has been flaked several times, and very disappointed. I myself cannot angel this swap!

Adults can join for themselves, too!

That being said, these are the guidelines of this swap:

  • List below any allergies. PLEASE do not list likes/ dislikes, this is strictly senders choice, ALTHOUGH you can list one of their favorite types of candy below.

  • PLEASE do not send your old Halloween candy. Fresh, new candy unopened of course. Please refrain from sending candies such as Gobstoppers, (big round hard candies), and gum, that a child may choke on. Safety first!

  • Include a small variety of candy. Aim to spend around $3.00 plus postage. $3.00 can get 3 bags in Dollar Tree! Be sure to use a bubble envelope or small box. I am sorry but I have to keep this local, because I cannot afford to mail a package International. Be sure to include a note with the swap name and your user name in the swap.

    • If you've had recent no-sends please do not join. MIn rating of 4.95. NO unrated swappers, so please do not PM me and ask. One partner.

Please package it nicely, and I do suggest Delivery Confirmation. It can save you a headache, time, and money later on.

No coconut, due to allergies, please! Miranda's favorite candy is Skittles!

I have 3 kiddos who love candy period. No allergies here but I definitely agree with not sending candy that a child may choke on since I have an 18 month old.

I signed up for my daughter Chloe who's 6 years old. No allergies and she loves everything except for caramel. :*)

We don't have any allergies, and all 3 of my kiddos are older, and love gum, so that would be fine if you wanted to send.

No allergies. If possible, maybe include a solid milk chocolate lolly for my 7/8 month old niece? Just had her first one the other day and got so mad when it was gone! Not needed, but just a suggestion (:

Renae is 6 and she loves Twix! (I'm a poet and didn't know it) : )) She has NO allergies.

p.s. Also; looks like she has an awful lot in common with Miranda at the top of this list. ;)

This is for my son, Robert, who's older and not allergic to anything. He'd be pleased with whatever you'd care to send. Thanks!

This is for Kiona... no allergies and though I respect the safety 1st of this swap she is 12 so you can send any kind of candy....

@shabby if the child we are partnered with is older could we send stuff like Zots and other hard candies?

rubyhousesliprs 02/15/2011 #

@zurdoswifey that would be fine, you could always ask your partner.

Small flat rate priority boxes may be the cheapest way to go on this swap.
