As our first group swap, I'm going to make this one fun and easy!

You will have 3 partners each (I may adjust this number based on how many people join) and the swap is completely electronic.

We're each going to pretend that we are working in a burlesque show and we are determined to find the most amazing costume!

First, you will introduce yourself to your partners: choose a stage name, a hometown, and a musical niche.

Example: I'm Kitty DeVille, I come from Chicago, and I love to sing and dance to classical jazz / drum&bass / bluegrass / whatever-you-want!

Then, do an internet search and create for yourself a complete outfit, using images that you find online. You must include (at least) shoes, a top, and legwear. Think feathers, sequins, lace, fishnet, heels, glitter, etc. Feel free to add more items, like hair pieces, scarves, and even makeup... have fun inventing your character! You can be as crazy and creative as you like. Your style can be flapper-girl retro or Lady Gaga space-age.

I hope to see a bunch of you join in on this, as it's our very first swap, and will allow us to get to know each other, all while having a good laugh! =)
