Description:

I love France, Paris, anything Shabby Chic or French Country and especially the Eiffel Tower. I haven't seen any other swaps out there with this theme so here it is! For this swap we will make 2 Atc's each for 2 people for a total of 4 ATC's. The theme is Anything French. Vintage photos, buttons, lace, beeswax, moulin rouge, whatever reminds you of old France. There are a few magazines that may have things you can cut out to use. I love Romantic Homes and Romantic Country magazines. Both usually have some French Country pieces in them. :) Be creative and have fun! I have the example picture in more detail on my blog:

Now the fine print: No newbies please as this is my first swap as host. Rating of 4.5 or higher and no recent no sends. You must have a complete profile. I will be checking them prior to assigning partners.

This is an international swap so make sure you check your partners address first before you make them as Australia and certain other coutries don't allow certain things(animal matter-bones feathers and more) into the country.

I would absolutely love to join this swap - I'm also a Paris addict. I am in the 7 days of small parcels swap, but unrated as yet - and most likely won't be in time for this swap. It's disappointing :( as I would rate myself a reliable, kind and friendly swapper. I host my own swaps at several groups, run groups, have a retail store and know how to keep my customers happy LOL I might be a "Newbie" to swap-bot, but definately not in the arena of swapping/trading. Oh well, that's my whine for today hahaha (j/k) Good luck with the swap - maybe next time huh?

Take care, Lorri

My Grandmother was born in the South of France, and tho I've never been outside the USA I've always loved all kinds of French things! Pairis is my dream city! I am newish but have a 5 rating from my first Swap (Altered Art Supplies, I'm in my second (Crows and Ravens), and I have my package about to go out the door even tho I do not have to mail it until 11/19. I'd really like to be in this one! I teach Altered Books and Altered Cards. I'm VERY responsible, and take my commitments deeply and seriously! Hope I can join in this swap!!!

Hey Lorri,

There are usually some quicky swaps that are aimed at Newbies - maybe you can spot a couple of quick ones that can get you a rating or two before the sign-up deadline of the 30th? When I started, I found one "no newbies" swap that I really wanted to join, and so I had a target to aim for ;)

Scarlett Hi from Bellingham, Washington ~\o/

I've got three of the four atc's done and I'm leaning on your artwork as my inspiration to do what is me in the now. I watched the video of your french maybe mentor ... i watched a few of her videos .... what a lovely spirit ... I'm glad I get to be a part of your first running of a swap :O) ... you've got 29 to sign up. I'd say that was awesome for go #1 so High 5, Scarlett from Florida. Merrie H.

Popped in the mail on Saturday, although I just missed the midday collection, so won't be collected until this morning.
