Description:

This swap is for those of us who love handmade postcards. Feel free to design any kind of post card you'd like out of suitable materials that can be machined. Please, no store bought postcards, there are plenty of other swaps for those!

You will have ten partners, and since this swap is US only, the total cost of mailing will be $2.80. In return, you'll get an interesting variety of unique postcards to add to your collection!

Please have at least 5 mailed swaps, and a rating of at least 4.8. Please no recent 1's. This is to prevent flakers. I will angel, but I hope that I won't have to.

If there is interest in an international version, please let me know, it may be for fewer partners due to mailing costs.

Is there a specific size for the postcards?

4x6 ideally, since those are the smaller post cards and are only 28 cents to mail, but if someone wanted to make a larger post card and spend 44 cents mailing it, they could if they wanted to.

You're sure lucky in the States; in Canada there's no break for sending a postcard - 59 cents local, a dollar to the states, and $1.75 overseas!! Criminal.

Thanks for the answer! I have yet to join a postcard swap but I am definitely thinking about this one. If the postcards are 4x6 or smaller that means that I can put them in a photo album once I receive them - my biggest fear about joining a postcard swap has always been trying to figure out what to do with them once I get them. Thanks again!

Will you take a chance on me? I've been searching the web for a handmade postcard exchange and this is the first one I've found. I'm a long-time rubberstamper and would love to participate. I'm new to swap-bot, so I don't have a rating or any swaps, yet.

I am just curious how this works...it said 10 partners and there are more than 10 signed up....are we still only going to have 10 partners?

@LauraAust Most PC's are exactly 4x6....I keep mine in a photo album and I love to look at it! Occasionally I have to trim a tiny bit off a card to have it fit and I keep giant over sized ones in a binder in a sheet protector. Warning! PC's are addicting! = ) (P.S. I love your inchie canvas)
