You will write your memoir in only 6 words on the back of a postcard (of your choosing) and send it to three partners. *** Please send the postcard naked***

You can get inspiration by viewing this promo vid for the book on YouTube at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mBnP0DoGjRI&feature=player_embedded

Or by searching 6 word memoir.

Since this is a fairly easy swap it is open to all (including Newbies) and of course if anyone does not receive from a partner I will angel.

Is there a non curse word limit to this swap or is it any words?

papercaper 03/10/2011 #

Ogma 03/10/2011 #

Wow. What a fabulous idea. This is going to be difficult but really interesting and fun. Thanks for hosting!

Ogma 03/10/2011 #

Can the postcard be sent in an envelope or does it have to be sent "naked"? Thanks.

thebragal 03/10/2011 #

The YouTube link didn't work for me. Could you please check it?

user6937 03/10/2011 #

The link works - if you get rid of the space after the ? mark

playkonstantine 03/12/2011 #

My friend is in one of those books! I love them :)

AlyssD 03/15/2011 #

Sorry about the link. And thank you to @user2637 for putting up one that works a bit better.

@fawnscrafts I'm fiercely against censorship and besides who am I to tell you what you can or can't say in your own memoir???? So use whatever words feel appropriate.

@Ogma please send the postcard Naked. Thanks.

alwayschic 03/23/2011 #

Im sorry, but does naked mean a plain white postcard? Or only write the 6 words...nothing else? thanks!

shellsajerseygirl 03/23/2011 #

Naked means not in an envelope.

bobogrl 03/24/2011 #

wow so happy I stumbled on this...just came up with my six words. Love it!

lovestosew 03/24/2011 #

Do I need to stick to just one 6 word memoir for all three postcards or can I have different ones for each?? I've already thought of a couple that would apply! Awesome swap idea!!!!!!

JuliasAlteredArt 03/25/2011 #

I am also wondering if we need to stick to the same 6 word memoir, and how about the postcards, should those be the same or can we use different ones? How about handmade postcards? And if we make our own PC can we put our memoir on the front rather then the back? Thanks in advance :) PS I really like this Swap idea!

thisismeAXiD 03/26/2011 #

I'm totally stoked...I already know what mine are going to be!!

Robbiegirl 03/27/2011 #

I am new.. first swap signed up for. So we make three post cards with the six words and mail the post card itself..to the people we are given for the swap.. Fun and exciting.

SeeEmZee 03/28/2011 #

SO COOL!! Can't wait.

AlyssD 04/ 1/2011 #
