A Taste of Your City

The Chicagoland area is home to lots of well known food companies. For example, things like Extra Gum (The Wrigley Company) and Lemonheads Candy (Ferrara Pan) are made either in or around the Chicago area.

What kinds of things come from where you live? Coffee? Candy? Hot Sauce? Sardines?

For this swap, we will each have one partner and we will each fill a box with $10-$12 worth of food items that come from our city, area, country, etc. We'll also include a short note to our partner about the things we've sent.

You don't necessarily need to stick with snacky type foods--you can be creative as you want here. As long as it is edible and you can figure out a way to mail it, you can send it!!! You can always do a themed box, too, if you want.

And remember--we're sending a "Taste of (insert your own city, area, country here)"--we're not putting together items according to our partner's profile or wish list, but you still should take a look at your partner's info for any allergies or dislikes.

This is an international swap (I too am hating the cost of international postage these days, but I thought we'd get a lot more interesting swaps if I went international with this one).

This is open to swappers with ratings of 4.90 or higher only. No newbies allowed. I will ban anyone who does not meet these requirements or anyone who looks sketchy.
