Crafters alphabets swap

No matter what craft you work with you often want to write something, and sometimes it’s very hard to find that perfect alphabet. You might have (like me) bought a full alphabet of some sort just because you need that ONE letter, or you think you do and really don’t... Now you can swap the rest!

This is a bit of a complicated swap, so PLEASE read everything first and sign up later, if you totally understand all of it and know you can do it. Since alphabets are so different from type to type you have to score “points”. You need to send items that score at least 15 of these points put together. All alphabets must be full, A-Z (+ any extras), unless otherwise stated, and you can not send more than 5 mixed alphabets, and no more than 2x3 sets of numbers (at 0.5 points for each set of 3). Upper and lower case only counts when it comes to size, any full or mixed alphabet can be a mix of upper and lower (some of my favorites to use are even made that way by default). In mixed alphabets the lower case counts sizewise. Making sticker flakes of a sheet of sticker alphabets is not allowed, a sticker sheet can not be cut into more than 3 pieces, unless it’s very large stickers and/or only cut to size because of postage savings. Measure the letter A/a for upper and lower case size requirements. Any kind of rubber stamps count, mounted, unmounted, acrylic, clear and foam.

The points are given out like this:

0.5 points:

• Flat sticker alphabet missing some letters. (MUST be at least 15 different letters to count as 0,5).

• Paper alphabet missing some letters (MUST be at least 15 different letters).

• A mix of all types and kinds of alphabets listed in this swap, missing some letters (MUST be at least 15 different letters).

• 3 sets of numbers 0-9, any kind.

1 point:

• Small flat sticker alphabet (under 3cm high for upper case, 2 cm for lower case) on no more than 3 sheets.

• Mix of all types and kinds of alphabets, full.

• Small/normal paper alphabet, any kind of flat ordinary paper (under 5cm high for upper case, 4cm for lower case).

• Small bubble sticker alphabet (3,5 cm high for upper case, 3 cm for lower case).

2 points:

• Small chipboard or other raised alphabet (not bubble sticker, under 4cm high for upper case, 4 cm for lower).

• Medium/large flat sticker alphabet (see requirements above).

• Paper alphabet size large (see requirements above), embellished or “fancy” paper type.

3 points:

• Mixed rubber stamp alphabet missing some letters, gently used or new (MUST be at least 15 different letters).

• Large bubble sticker alphabet (see size requirements above).

• Metal charm alphabet.

4 points:

• Mixed rubber stamp alphabet, full, gently used or new.

• Large chipboard or other raised alphabet (not bubble sticker, see size requirements above).

• Any kind of alphabet template to use with cutting or writing supplies.

5 points:

• Full rubber stamp alphabet, gently used.

• Large chipboard or other raised alphabet (see size requirements above) that includes at least 8 big embellishments to match.

7 points:

• New full rubber stamp alphabet.
