Did you know that the birds used in White dove releases for weddings, funerals, and other events, are actually white homing pegions? Doves can not find their way back home the way pegions can, and they have very slim chances of surviving in a city. They would most likey starve or get hit by a car if released.

Babytreese 04/14/2011 #

Sorry...misspelled pigeon ;-)

Babytreese: Great picure of baby birds. I look forward to my very first swap with Swap Bot. I have a few cards in mind and hope to select the perfect card for my swap partner.

fawnscrafts 04/15/2011 #

Oh my, my bird story is too long for the back of a card, so I will think of another one. LOLOL

fawnscrafts 04/15/2011 #

Oh my, I saw a lot of swaps sign up date to be by today.

I know this isn't official tax day this year for some reason but it seems like ti was a 'conspiracy' to get our minds off of tax day. USA tax dues in a few days.

I posted this, because this is one of like six that sign up is today and it is the most I have ever had in one day. And it seems a bit weird. LOLOL

Babytreese 04/15/2011 #

@fawnscrafts Tax Day is the 18th this year due to a holiday in DC - Emancipation Day - which falls on the 16th this year.

fawnscrafts 04/15/2011 #

I was wondering why it was delayed.

Babytreese 04/15/2011 #

Penguins are found only in the Southern Hemisphere. While most people associate penguins with Antarctica, they are much more widespread and penguin populations can also be found in South America, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand

AngelKay 04/16/2011 #

Babytreese 04/16/2011 #
