Description:

I thought this would be a fun idea, I really like being random. I want to see how many items you can fit into a flat rate box. Plus with the holidays coming up this is a great time to get rid of some excess. There are a few rules though-

*Try not to fill the box with all the same item-but if you have 100 twix candy bars to send me I'm sure I wouldn't mind. The idea is to be creative and fun. *They can't be really junky things-it doesn't have to be new, pick things like a pen you found under the couch, or stickers that you never use, really ugly fabric, a pack of skittles from Halloween--or even better all your kids Halloween candy! (I am going to owe the dentist sooo much money!) *try to be really random *you don't have to...but if you would like to explain any of your items in a letter to your partner that might be fun. Like a story of why you ended up with a pack of purple posies or something like that. (not required-just an idea) *sorry this is not an international swap

*most of all have fun with it! As soon as you get your box full, post how many items you were able to fit into the box. You can use either flat rate box.

Partners, this isn't necessarily about getting stuff you need, so if you get stuff you can't use send it to your local thrift store.

If you have any questions please let me know.

As far as who can join-if you are new you must have at least participated in 1 actual swap that involved spending money. Please no flakes, I want everyone to get a box.

A flat rate box is one of these I'm assuming, right?

This is a great (and kind of hilarious) swap idea!

:)

this looks like an awesome swap (i was thinking about joining) but too risky with no rating requirement because we all know that unfortunately just asking to no flakers is not enough ):

Is this international?

B3ntButN0tbrok3n 11/ 5/2007 #

i would think not since the flat rate box is a "USA" thing

No this is not an international swap

I really hope I don't get any flakers, I really want everyone to get a box.

-->and my answer was: "yes, I think anything goes-it probably would be alittle nice to put in a few things that your partner would like, but it's not a requirement. I don't think it even needs to be crafty stuff...just fun and interesting. I think little stuff is probably ok also. I can't wait to start this one, I've already got a sack of stuff ready to cram in! Every time I loose something in my office I find something else to add. I hope everyone has fun with this one!"
