Description:
In this swap you will send your partners a notecard with enclosed collage goodies. The notecard should be at least 4 X 5 and you should write a cheery, non-religious, greeting inside. Notecards can be store bought or handmade. You should also enclose fibers, fabric, paper scraps and images that could inspire art. Paper scraps should be at least ATC-sized. No Kawaii please. About 10 to 12 nice items would be about right. Please pack with care. If you cannot get these together and mailed off on or before October 16, please do not sign up. I will be weeding out bad swappers. Please note that this swap is open to all earthlings with good feedback.

As I understand it, Kawaii is that cutesy stuff kind of like "hello kitty", but even worse. I was hoping to limit this swap to collage artist types, rather than those who are into large foam stickers with glitter on them, cutesy animals (victorian, realistic okay by me), or bubble-gum type stuff. Do the best you can, however, as I noted this too late. Also, I do not pretend to be the "art police".

Thanks Toni for explaining Kawaii...I'm sure I'll see that term again and now I'll understand it. Not something that appeals to me either. Please don't apologize....keep the quality high!
