Description: | |
I like to hang pleasing things on my bulletin board, and I like to make swaps that can be sent in a flat envelope with one stamp: I thought it might be fun to combine the two.... For this swap you will have 1 partner and you will send that partner 1 small ornament (hanging decoration) made by you--the only catch is that it has to be flat enough to be mailed safely in a regular envelope. So think creatively with cardstock, fabric, or another flat-lying material; decorate with collage, rubber stamps, markers, stitching, paint--whatever you'd like. The ornament needn't be large, and it can be of whatever you like: bird, bee, flower, tree, butterfly, fairy, mushroom, moon, heart, hedgehog, sun, star, something fantastical, surreal, or abstract, etc., etc., etc.! Just make sure it brings a smile to your face; that means there's a good chance that it'll make your partner smile, too. I'm using the word "ornament" because it calls to mind a hanging decoration; I don't mean it in the particular sense of "Christmas ornament," because this isn't meant to be a holiday-specific swap. Other details: 1) Newbies with completed profiles are welcome. 2) I will angel the swap if necessary. 3) Swappers with a rating below 4.85 will be dropped before partners are assigned. 4) This is an international swap. |
