TBA Penpals - What makes you, YOU?

Inspired by Not Quite Normal Penpals

Here's a fun little swap to get to know your group members a little better and hopefully make a new friend or two!

You will have two partners for this swap. You will send each of your partners a letter that is all about you. Besides just the same generic stuff of "I live in __________ and I do _________ for a living" you will focus your letter on what tends to set you apart from most people... what makes you "Not Quite Normal"? What first attracted you to this group here on swap-bot? Which parts of the group info did you really identify with (was it being DIY OR DIE? being vegan, gay, or trans? wanting to find people like you?) This is a letter for you to show all of the different ways in which you SHINE and make your part of the universe a more interesting place. Don't hold back about this or get shy/embarrassed -- be proud of the awesome person that you are! The point here is to get away from the boring "form letters" that we often receive in penpal exchanges - let's make these really unique and personal!

As a bonus (and to get a heart with your feedback), you can also send each of your partners something that you have made. This could be anything so long as it involved some creativity on your part... it could be a copy of a zine you made, a mix CD, a burned CD of great photos you took, printed photos that you took, an ATC, a handmade card, an altered T-shirt, a knitted potholder, a piece of jewelry, recipe cards for your favorite foods.... the ideas are literally endless here. If you're not sure about something, just ask, but it is probably fine.

Just to be clear - the bonus item is not required for this swap. The only thing required for this swap is a penpal letter.

Please make sure to rank your partners after you receive your letter and bonus item. If you don't receive anything, please let me know. I won't leave people out in the cold and will angel when necessary... it just means I get more penpals ;)
