Before sending any excess, please make sure that your partner agrees on receiving it.

Please only send cute and neat stuff, nothing sloppy or badly glued together. Keep in mind that you are sending exactly the type of bags that you would like to receive.

-->PLEASE only join this swap if you are well acquainted with LB swapping!!

Happy swapping everyone!

For those of you wondering what label bags are and how they work, please check this link

Label bags are envelopes that contain address labels of pen pals. You only need to place your label address inside and make the label bags according to the instructions. Then sign at the back and you are ready to pass it to a friend. The rules of Label Bags make them more or less a chain game. So for this swap you need to make 20 LBs, place your own labels inside & send them to 2 partners (10 for each partner). By joining this swap you will receive 20 LBs from 2 different partners (10x2). You will have to use labels of the people who send you the LBs in order to make new swapping items, therefore if you are not familiar with what LBs are and don`t have regular LB swappers, it might be difficult to pass on these bags.

is it possible to get names and address of people that would like to have lb's made for them?

tex82 05/27/2011 #

Will be starter. I made 20 LB's here! Well, I really want to start this LB thing. So, the 20 LB's are empty, they have the label of the own of lb glue outside. Till there I understand.

They go empty to our partner, that is it?

Because you said that "place your own labels inside", but I'm not the 1st to sign, why my labels are inside?

Hi, tex82! Usually the maker of the LB inserts his own labels, so that the first person that will receive & sign the LB will have labels to take out of the bag & use :) Basically there are 3 distinct types of participant in this: the owner, the maker, the signers/ players. In a LB, you can be only one of these.

Let's say you make a LB for me. It will look like this ---> LB for gony (my label glued on the LB), made by tex82 (your label glued on the LB), 5 of tex82's labels inside the bag. So, now you will send the LB to swapper X, who will practically sign the LB as no.1, will take out one of your labels, will replace it with 5 of theirs, then will pass on the LB to someone who will sign the LB as 2nd player.

I hope it's a little clearer now, please let me know if you need more info.
