What do you mean by waxed boxes?

Mistyinltown 05/26/2011 #

@kyleniebob I believe she means, like boxes for freezer items, they usually have a coating on them to protect them from condensation and damaging the food, it has a waxy sheen and feel to it.

I wish more people had joined this swap. I think it's awesome! Looks like we'll all be swapping to each other.

Yeah, I'm not sure why it wasn't more appealing. It's pretty easy - cut a chunk out of a box. And I've received enough cards like that to know that people are doing it.

I'll have to think about it and see if I can make future swaps like this more attractive.

@BetsyPreston I think maybe changing the swap title? Maybe to "Cardboard Postcard" instead of CBPC? I had no idea what the swap was until I clicked on it and read the description... CBPC is an abbreviation that I wasn't familiar with until I read it in your swap.

I think this is a really awesome swap though and plan to join the others in the series... they are on my watch list for now though since you can only be signed on for so many swaps at a time ;)

I agree with you, @namelessgirl It's a really clever idea and it deserves a catchy name.
