Description:

I've seen swaps like this on other sites, so I thought we could give it a try. If there's enough interest, it'll be a series for the summer.

Here's your challenge:

Craft a pouch, tote/purse, wallet, or similar type of item using (mostly) recycled materials, at least some of which are ones that come from FOOD or DRINK packaging, for example, cereal boxes or the plastic bag that holds the cereal, drink pouches, milk jugs, oatmeal bins, etc.

In some cases, the material being used will look cute on its own, but please make sure the final results looks nice! The end result should be something that is functional/sturdy and cute/appealing :)

Items can be sewn, glued, woven, knitted, etc -- the manner of crafting is up to you!

All group members in good standing are welcome! Be creative and have fun!

Please don't judge harshly -- remember that this should be fun and that some of us (including me!) are fairly new to this type of crafting. However, please do make something nice for your partner! If it is something on the small/easy end, then make at least 2.

I'd be interested in doing this again if you decide to make it a running swap. :D
