Indie Secret Pal ~3 Months~

I think there is something wrong with swap-bot.com its telling me my partner is different than originally said.

Yeah I'm having that problem too...on all my swaps, both past and present. I just got finished emailing about this.

Well that's unfortunate since I gathered goods based on Sunday's list.. But I will adjust future packages to my new partner's tastes. Thanks for drawing attention to this bug; otherwise, we might have sent to the wrong person for 3 months! :)

I just want to give a big hug to my Indie Partner!! She sent me YUMMY chocolate in with my first package. I obviously don't know who she is yet, but I do know she is from France and let me tell you American chocolate DOES NOT compare!! I love trying edible goodies from other countries. Thank you so much! thank you indie partner! she sent me the cutest little sweater. it is for an egg. it is perfect! also included in the package are some bath salts, a little chenile kit (can't wait to try this out), a handmade soapy shower puff, a tiny cake scented candle and a sweet handmade card. so sweet! i love little things and this package is full of them.

another shout out about partner lurve! thank you to my indie parnet for hitting the nail on the head. i lurve lurve lurve my package for the month! i'm STILL swooning. *mwah

I just wanted to let my secret pal know that I LOVE the Russian bowl and spoons--they're beautiful!!! Right up my alley too. Trying right now to figure out where to put them in room. thank you thank you thank you!!!

Me too, nothing received .My indie swap don't send his/her package. It's so sad because it was the first time when i have used swap-bot and i tought that it could be a great experience :( But i will continute to spoil my indie :)

Secret Pal, I haven't received anything yet. I'm worried. Are you trapped under a large piece of furniture or were you recently enrolled in Witness Protection? Where are you?

On the other hand, I am having a blast sending things to my secret pal. It's just kind of a bummer when you send fun packages and get nothing in return.

I got a box yesterday. An assortment of things. Mind is realing....what can I do with this item or that item???

If you don't get things right away your partner might live across a border. I had a Canadian partner for an earlier swap and the package was in the mail for over two weeks. My partner is Canadian for this one too and it took 8 days.

Both were worth the wait.

I got a package today from my secret pal - everything in it was great! I can't wait to listen to the mix cd she sent and to make some altered books.

I don't want to add any more bad news to the bunch but I too havn't recieved my package. I'm still hoping it will come sometime soon.

I received some very good smelling candles and lovely hand made cards from my pal yesterday! I knew she'd come through. My whole car smelled like a cake shop!

LR is the best!!! ALL the things she sent were so carefully selected and beautifully wrapped. She is also an incredible artist!

I am very, very confused. I have recieved 4 packages, but all are labelled random swap and contain random things, not handmade things. Don't get me wrong I appreciate someone having taken the time to send, but I thouhgt this was a more themed swap. The last package included an email address and was signed as if it were the end of the swap. I looked at the person I am supposed to rate, but this is not who the packages are coming from. Anyone else having similar experiences?

I'm confused as well... I have sent 2 packages to my partner's address and both now have come back to me stating, "Undeliverable as Addressed." I've double checked and I have the address exactly as it appears on swapbot... I have emailed my partner and gotten no response.

On the other hand, I have been VERY LUCKY to have a cool swap partner who sends me the most amazingly thoughtful stuff!!! Last Friday I received a box filled with little boxes - one to open each day of the week!!!!! I have enjoyed it soooooo much!

I just feel terrible that I can't seem to get a hold of my secret pal...

i hate to sound mean, but maybe if everyone checked the list to see if their partner is really participating (i.e. sent/ not sent) and those who have partners who dont want to play could pick someone off these comments who is getting disappointed to send to, instead. just an idea since this is an extended swap, not a one time thing....

I'm hoping my swap partner reads this because at the end of next week, I'm moving cross-country. I'll have a new address listed in the swap address part - but this is just in case she doesn't check that.

Yeah, I sent something to the person who is sending me such awesome stuff cause as far as I know she still hadn't received anything... I felt so bad cause she sends me such amazing gifts:) Secret swap pal, I hope it reaches you safely and it brings you some joy while you wait:)

My secret pal sent me an awesome second package - a little lobster pillow (that I had to hide from my dog and cats!) and bottle caps and candy and a crafty book and magnets. Thank you secret pal!!

just wanted to let my secret pal know that i am away from home and i have been for a few weeks so if you sent me a package it will be waiting for me when i get home. i don't want you to think it was lost in the mail or, worse, that i am ungrateful. i can't wait to open it!

Now I'm really confused! I am running behind due to Lyme disease and the dreadful antibiotics to combat it. I just signed on here to print out my partner's address again and I have a different partner?! What has happened? Are we sending to different people now? Did my partner leave swap-bot and I was reassigned? I didn't even see her on the list. Is my new partner not receving gifts from anyone so far?
