Description:

I love drawing with Sharpie markers (or other similar types). For this swap you will hand draw (so no stamping or collaging) a postcard for your partner based on what they like in their profile. If they love flowers, draw flowers, if they love Twilight you could draw something from that theme, you get the picture? It doesn't have to be museum quality and you don't have to be the best drawer in the world, but make your best effort to make your partner happy. As a suggestion, and this is JUST a suggestion, how I rate is: Everyone starts with a 5 and a heart...it's yours to lose, so if you make an effort, write me a little note, show that you actually read my profile then you'll get your heart. I realize it's the discretion of the receiver to rate as they see fit, i'm just giving an example of how I rate other's work, especially when it's something like a drawing or original type of art. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Newbies are more than welcome to join, you have to start somewhere! You will have two weeks to complete this. Please send your work of art naked, as in, not in an envelope...so our mailcarriers can enjoy them too! Don't flake. I'll hunt you down. Have fun!

Please make sure your postcard is on heavy cardstock or something like that...even recycled cardstock. Needs to be tough enough to make it through the mail system! As a suggestion, heavy duty watercolor paper is great for this, especially when you use markers.

Ooh I love Sharpies! I don't know if you guys have seen this but the company that makes Sharpies has a website about Sharpie art with galleries of a lot of cool projects people have made. It is sharpieuncapped.com! I don't work for them or anything, haha, just thought you might like to see it for inspiration. :)
