Lucky New Year

I know when New Years hits I am often feeling blue and sad and I thought I might not be alone and it might be fun to make this new year a happy and lucky one!

1 For this swap you need to send something wrapped for your person to open on new years eve to make them happy. Handmade is great as I know were all probably broke from the holidays. Look to your partners profile for ideas. A good idea might be some plant seeds for spring, a craft kit, some art supplies just anything that you thing will make your partner happy.

2 a good luck charm to make 2008 a good year for your person. Ideas for this are endless just no "lucky" rabbits feet as I don't want to think that there are any rabbitts running around with crutches because of us. Ideas might be a four leaf clover made into a necklace, a ornament to hand in the window to bring good fortune, a lucky cat item (I love these and collect them and they can be found in most import shops). If you need more ideas let me know :) Potential good luck items amulets include: gems or simple stones, statues, coins, drawings, pendants, rings, plants, animals, etc

1. A small treat to get them through the night, a candy bar, some holiday candy, tea or coffee if your partner likes them.

I am not going to put a dollar amount on this swap as I am sure a lot of it will be handmade items, just create a package that you would like to recieve and to bring a smile to your partner for the new year.

Now for the not so fun parts. Please don't join if you are not sure you can send for the swap. It is so sad to work hard on a package for your partner and not get one in the mail. Remember were trying to boost our partners spirits!
