Description:

How many people are like me and just cant let that cute or pretty little picture in your magazine stash go to waste? For this swap you will have 5 partners where you will send each partner 10 inchies from your favorite magazines. So this will be a total of 50 magazine inchies. Most of us know what inchies are but for those who do not: inchies are a 1" x 1" square works of art: But for this swap we are sending the pictures we find in magazines. This is senders choice. They can be a cute animal, logo, word (as long as the word fills most of the square), a pretty texture, face, your choice but do pick the best pictures, we want to be able to use them in future works of art or just add to our beautiful collections. When you send to your partners add a little note maybe about the magazine you found them in and why you chose these pictures. You must have a filled out profile, no recent 1's or 3's and a rating of at least 4.5. I will angel if needed but hope I do not have to.(they can be sent thin OR on card stock) It is senders choice...

So we do not create the inchies? We send background pics from magazines cut to 1"? Is that right?

nottameable 06/15/2011 #

Yes, you can place on cardstock or leave thin but all come from the magazines.

is it ok for inchies to be on paper 1mm thick? or is it too thick?

Some may want to use them for collage art so thin is good for that and some may want them sturdy for there collection, If you are not sure how to send when partners are assigned ask your partner if they want them a certain way.

When I went to the post office to mail one of my inches-swap to Canada, I was told they didn't know when it would be delivered because the postal service is on strike in Canada! So if it is late it is not my fault!!!!!!!!
