Tear Bears or Torn animal

I am the one hosting this swap. I am not that familiar with Swap Bot swaps yet so please bear with me...lol I would love to receive more of these torn animals and bears. I have never done the bears before so don't expect purrfection from me. At least I am willing to try and same for others.

You don't have to wait until the send date to send me extras. But if you end up being my partner and you sent extras just send me a note so I will remember and mark it as the swap.

Do you think it is wise to put your adress up here for the whole world to see? I don't, I think you better remove it and ask that people email you for your adress if they want to send you something.

That is why I put in my swap message "If you are one that would love to receive extras please post a COMMIT (scroll down the page) saying you would love more. You may post your address there or give me permission to give it out. If you post your address in the COMMIT section remember the world can see it."

I love the Peachy Keen website. I am confused though with some of the kits there and was interested in the tear bears but I don't see just that there.

I am very interested. This looks like a great project. Maybe Shia can tell us the general size of the finished animal?

All tears are made from Mulberry?

Do you tear the bear out of paper and then stamp it? I am totaly confused as I have never seen them.

MissPrincess Peachy Keen doesn't have the tear bears there. She has the stampers. If you need help with an order or finding what you want you can email her or call and she will help you. She helped me and was really understanding that is why I have her info posted. When I get good service from people I help them get business.

For the tear bears check out the other link. I have 2 places listed that have patterns. Both can email patterns to you.

3YorkieMom Most are made from Mulberry paper. SOme parts like clothing maybe made from cardstock. I will send an email to Shia and ask her to post some info about Tear Bears and the sizes..

Cocoa Let me see if I can get Shia to answer some questions. I have asked someone for permission to post a picture of theres here but haven't heard back yet. I even emailed and called the people at Peachy Keen Stamps 3 days ago and haven't heard from anyone there. I had questions about ordering, sizes and all that. I like their face stamps.

MissPrinces maybe i can help you on some off the faces. I know she has them listed by sizes and had listed next to some of them what size Sizzix dolls or other dolls they fit. Do you have Yahoo messanger? If so IM me at crazyanimal888 I should be on and off tomorrow.

I don't know if she sales whole sale or not. I do know she is just starting her business. I got an email from her company today saying they have a sale. I can forward it to you if you would like. Shipping is 99 cents in USA from Dec 3 to Dec 10.

They also have a new intro package that has just been released (which I plan to get) that is on sale until the 9th.

Some times it does take her a few days to answer her emails. Did you tell her I sent you and you are in my swap on Swap Bot? I just want her to know that I am advertising for her like I told her I would to help her.

I made a few bears last night! They are cute!

I am actually "re-thinking" the facial stamps. I forgot, witht he mulberry paper being bumpy, stamping on it might not work too well. Has anyone tried it?

If I have time tomorrow I will try making one and use the face stamps. I will let you know. good job on making some last night! You are faster than I am! lol

I finally made one!! Yes the stamps work on the face part. You have to push a bit harder on the face than what you would push on the back of the mulberry for the body parts. I did the nose first and didn't press very hard. Then on the eyes I pressed a bit harder and got it right. When you first get your stamps I would test it on scrap mulberry first so you know how hard to push. (I wish I would have thought of that a few minutes ago..lol)

Hi everyone. I am kinda new here and was wondering if someone could help answer a question for me. When there is an odd number of people in a swap how does everyone get something from the swap in question?
