Description:

I love greeting cards. If I have to go buy a birthday card I walk out with about 5 other cards as well. I just like having a wide variety on hand so that if the occasion arises I have something quick that I can send.

The point of this swap is to send 3 UNUSED/UNWRITTEN/BRAND NEW greeting cards to your swap partner. - NO POSTCARDS - A good card can cost up to $4 but Hallmark sections have a really good selection starting at $.99. IF you make your own cards those are allowed as well. I have some friends who make their own cards and a lot of those are better than store bought ones.

I PREFER that you send blank cards (not birthday/wedding/sympathy ect..) but if you have a hard time finding blank ones then those are ok.

So, if you're anything like me sign up! This is a good way to add to your card collection. :)

Thank you in advance and have a great day!

p.s. I can angel but if you don't send your cards you will be left bad feedback and won't be allowed to participate in any more of my swaps. Also, I do allow new people as long as their profile is filled in completely. (New people have to start somewhere right?!)

Aww! Please let me know if you decide to change this swap to International as it's right up my alley!! I love greeting cards and have two boxes full of really nice ones. :) (Btw, postage shouldn't be too much, if that's the concern.) Otherwise I'll just have to watch from the sidelines...

rachelcdoyle 07/15/2011 #

I've never shipped international before (Other than a card or something.) How much do you think a flat envelope would cost?

cafras 07/15/2011 #

Postage from Australia USA & Europe is $A2.35 ( just gone up ) You wouls get 3 - 4 cards for this providing they weren't too thick

cafras 07/15/2011 #

correction to last msg ... would .. not wouls ! ... cold, stiff fingers :)

I'd like to join as well, but I'm in the UK. Is this swap international yet? ^_^

rachelcdoyle 07/17/2011 #

Ok, I'll open it to international!

papercaper 07/17/2011 #

Thanks, Rachel! And yes, sending a few cards to the US or Europe would be $2.35, unless it tipped the scales over 50g (or is it 100g?), whereupon it would cost twice that. Postage charges to Asia are even less.

Maybe it's staring me right in the face, but I couldn't see where it says how many to send... Help :)

rachelcdoyle 07/18/2011 #

Weird... it DID say 3 cards to each person... it's missing. I'm re-editing the post again

rachelcdoyle 07/18/2011 #

Yup.. in the "edit" section it was all there but I used some characters that made an entire paragraph blank I guess... it's fixed now! :)

papercaper 07/19/2011 #

Yeah, I thought it was for 3. That lost paragraph is handy info - glad it's back!

ADDozier 07/21/2011 #

I can't really send internatinal, can you give me a person in the US!?

ADDozier 07/21/2011 #

Sorry! I meant international!

rachelcdoyle 07/21/2011 #

Sorry, I can't pick who people send to, it's all done through the website. You're going to have to take who you get or drop out.

Babytreese 07/24/2011 #

Yes!!! PLEASE help your partner out and complete your profiles!!!
