Ain't no pretty craft store stuff

I LOVE making cards and post cards but I get so down when I think of the pre-fab junk they sell in craft stores! The world is full of paper (thanks to all the trees we've managed to cut down so far) and they are mass producing this stuff trying to get us to be "creative"?!?! That just doesn't make sense to my little brain!

What I love is to rip out of old magazines, crazy flyers, scrap wrapping, old nursery rhyme books, odd encyclopedias, interesting boxes, used envelopes, retro teachers supplies, upcycled postcards... anything that is headed for the scrap yard anyways becomes my inspiration for unique cards!!!

So here is the deal:

grab an envelope (letter size or bigger if you like)

stuff it with the flat supplies (likely paper) you have managed to collect from the magazines and books in your stash

throw a stamp on it and share your unique tastes and supplies with your lucky partner to prompt them into some one-of-a-kind crafting!

Don't bother with the card stock, what we are after here are images an fonts, embellishments, and the other fun stuff (we've all got paper lying around already!)
