Description:

I remember as a child writing a shared story with my friends. I would start a story and write a couple of paragraphs, and then one friend would add another couple paragraphs, and then the next and so on. The outcomes would be hilarious.

This is the 2nd installment of the Shared Story Journal. If you received a story journal in the first swap, you will now continue on your partner's story in the next 1-2 pages.

If you are new and just joining this swap, pick up a small journal (about 4x6ish) from the store (preferably one where the pages are well-secure). Write the first page of your story. Include pictures and illustrations if you feel so inclined, but limit your entry to no more than two pages. In the back cover of the book write your address so that when the story is complete it will be returned to you. We will then send it to our partner. They will write the next page of the story, and hold onto it until the next swap.

Since these are small journals that will be fairly light, I will open this up to international. I will allow unrated newbies. Ratings of 4.75 or above with no recent 1s or 3s in the last 6 months.

Please contact me with any questions. I can't wait to see how silly we can get.

I really like this idea. I like that it is continuing, and that people can jump in the middle.

Hi, this sounds interesting but I'm not sure how this really works as it's the very first time I've came across such a swap and it sound interesting..

1) How long of a story will it be till it's sent back to us? 2) So do we keep the book till the next swap to be return back where it was first sent to us or do we sent to the next partner of the swap? 3) And how do we rate this?

Sorry for sounding silly..but just want to make sure I'm on the right page..

Does the journal have to be exactly 4x6? I'm actually having a hard time finding one in my area. Can it be a little bigger?

That size is just a suggestion. I just want it to be small enough and cheap enough to send. and something we can easily finish the story. :)
