Description:

This is for three days worth of fun mail. For this swap, you will send one thing from the lists below to your partner three days in a row. That way, your partner theoretically receives fun mail three days in a row from the same sender. It's a way to get to know your partner a little better, as well as get a variety of goodies.

The list below names several items you can choose from to send each day. You can of course send more than one item, but I have set a requirement of only one to try to keep postage down.

Please read your partner's profile carefully for their likes and dislikes, since you will be sending them a variety of things. It is also important so you know which items from the list to pick to send.

I think it would also be nice to include a little note every day to your partner. Please see the list for the note themes you should include:

Day 1: Send a note about who you are and where you're from AND A notecard with envelope (handmade okay) OR A letter set (two sheets of stationery with an envelope) OR 2 postcards (no ad/free, handmade okay)

Day 2: Send a note about your life currently, what you do, etc, AND 25 stickers (flakes, sheets, loose, however, but nicely cut and not folded, no reward stickers unless requested) OR 25 used postage stamps in good condition (no duplicates) OR 15 embellishments (paper, non-paper, etc.)

Day 3: Send a note about what you hope your future will bring AND 1 ATC you have made (sender's choice) OR 1 Handmade bookmark (sender's choice) OR Something else handmade that suits your partner's profile (sender's choice)

So, you would pick one thing from each day, and send it out with the note one day after another. If you started sending Tuesday, you would send Day 1 on Tuesday, Day 2 on Wednesday, and Day 3 on Thursday. Please do not send them out all at once. You can mark your swap as sent on Day 2, but don't forget to send Day 3.

You MUST have a well-filled out profile due to the nature of this swap. If you are signing up, please take the time now to review your profile and list your likes and dislikes (it will help for other swaps too!)

Usual swap rules apply. This is an USA only swap. Because this is a bit of an involved swap, users must have a rating of 4.95 to participate, and I will ban anyone with questionable and recent 1's or 3's unless you message me before the sign-up deadline. You must have at least 10 sent swaps to join (if you don't meet these requirements and want to join, please message me!). I expect NO FLAKERS to join, but if necessary, I will angel.

If you have any questions, please feel free to comment or message me at @lttleetoile . Looking forward to this one, I think it will be fun!

Please explain what you mean by: "where you're FROM "...do you mean 'where you live NOW?' Where I am 'from' and where I live "now' are 2 completely different places. When someone asks me where are you 'from'' I reply NY State...if I am asked where I live 'now' I say 'Florida.'
Thanks!

You could say both, where you're from and where you live. :)

Can these 3 things be "Senders Choice", not from our partner's profile?

lttleetoile 08/30/2011 #

The items themselves are senders choice but please refer to the profile for what type of item to send. For example, for Day 3, if your partner does ATCs, send that. If they're a big reader, send a bookmark. Does that make sense? Let me know if not and I'll try to clarify more!

was thinking that maybe you should spread out send days for I know the mail here does not get picked up daily which would mean if i put envy in mail on tuesday say then one on wed they both still would be picked up by postal service wed ...

pinkcamo1980 08/30/2011 #

Yeah I agree with @metammi123 since I do not go to the post office every day I would not be able to do the swap unless I sent them every few days. And I would get all mine in one day too.

I understand your concerns, but the spirit of the swap is to have mail waiting for your partner three days in a row. I don't want inconvenience anyone but do hope that you will consider being a part of this swap.
