I live in Albuquerque, NM. It's pretty dull out here and I can't wait to leave. It's sunny and dry, and I prefer some rain!
I live with my boyfriend and our pet hedgehog. I'm going back to school to become a Math teacher.
I enjoy playing the Wii (silly games) and watching my bf play Zelda is like my favorite TV show. I'm seriously addicted.
Right now I'm really enjoying sewing. I've made some purses, wallets, and quilts in the few months that I've been sewing (I was taught when I was little, but just picked it up again). I have a Gocco machine, but I'm too afraid to waste a screen on a dumb design, so it's still in the box... I also dabble in knitting and crochet. Any craft is fun! I'd say my quilting style is definitely more contemporary (Denyse Schmidt is awesome). Probably because I don't want to be bothered with having to worry about how straight my lines are!
I really love bright saturated colors over pastels. Currently I am favoring yellow (last quarter it was orange). Is green next? Maybe if I find some green fabric that I fall in love with, but I think yellow is standing firm.
I go for cutesy kawaii Japanese fabrics, Heather Bailey, Amy Butler, Alexander Henry, etc. I like to mix big bold patterns with smaller ones. I'm currently collecting fabric for a few quilts: hedgehog fabric, cobalt blue fabrics/prints, space/robot prints, and pink/yellow combos. An eclectic mix! I also like fabric with numbers and letters. I'm not too into florals, I prefer more graphic prints, but a flower here and there is nice (to get back in touch with my girly side). I mostly quilt, but I also like to make bags and little zipper pouches. I prefer 100% cotton fabric, flannel, corduroy, home dec weight fabrics.

No, no UGA fabric, although that is a good idea for the next swap. Born and raised a Georgia (and UGA) girl but didn't go to school there.
Just letting you know that your charms are going out today. Sorry that I am few days behind, last month went by way too fast!
