I grew up where the forest meets the sea...now I live in a small town in far eastern Oregon on the Idaho boarder with my husband and a 15 year old, big puppy. I'm incredibly lucky to be able to work here on our property where we have a hair salon/art gallery and plant nursery. We have a large garden that provides most of our food for the year. I live a fairly simple life, and I love it!
I suround my self with old things with stories and new things with character. I search thrift stores for turn of the century photos of people and bring them home and give them names and make them part of my family. I am also, sort of a stationary hoarder😵...I collect vintage and vintage looking ephemera and lace. My favorite colors are soft, faded, vintage greys, and dusty roses, I also love the look and feel of both natural and bleached muslin.
I live my life timelessly...I like to think of how someone who is immortal might pick and choose the best little bits of every decade they'd lived in would live. I'm a little bit viking, a little Jane Austen, a little victorian and a little edwardian...I have little use for anything post WW1. You might say I'm a bit eclectic, maybe even a little off kilter.
I'm a hairstylist. I make all of my own clothes, historical fashion with a twist is my jam. I am a professional artist, and work in many mediums, lately I've been obsessed with making spirit dolls. I drink way too much tea, and even more coffee, and read way too many books. Oh and I stay up way to late putting together care packages and happy mail for friends and family members.
One of the best things in life...at least for me...is surprising people...putting smiles on their faces.. And making them feel special.

Please DO NOT SEND! Christian anything, period. I never thought I would have to say something like that...I am very happily pagan...I purposely don't sign up for Christian themed swaps as I'm sure you don't sign up for pagan/witch swaps. Also, on the subject of don't send...Disney...they treat their artists horribly and I refuse to support them in any fashion, Disney won't be re-swaped, simply thrown away. Reading other profiles with statements like this has made me bristle, I never wanted to put this sort of thing on my profile but...
