About Me

I am a 26 year old Stay at home mama of 3 beautiful children. I have been married to a wonderful man for over 7 years. We are an active duty Army Family :) I am also an in-home childcare provider. When I am not busy with my own 3 kids or watching others, I make hair bows for my 2 daughters and many of my friend's daughters :) I also love making tutu dresses and other sewing crafts. I love crafting in general. My passion in life is my children. My 2nd is cars. I love everything about them. I love rebuilding them, customizing them and doing just about anything you can with them. I love all types. Fast, old, new..etc. My dream car is a 1969 Dodge Charger!

Favorite Crafts

I LOVE making hair bows. I love how creative you can get with ribbon. I love making tutus and tutu dresses! They are so beautiful and simple! I also love doing crafts with simple sewing. I love most all crafts. Usually I get so many craft ideas in my head that I want to do, I don't know where to begin! lol I really love crafts that involve turning something old into decorations for the home.

Favorite Books

My most favorite authors are Dean Koontz and Stephen King. I haven't read much of anyone else. But I LOVE the books written by both of them. I am a huge closet book worm :) I also like to read DIY books and craft idea books.

Favorite Movies

I mainly love old horror movies. I have been totally in love with scary movies since I was 4 years old. I remember my very first favorite move was not anything Disney..but Freddy Kruger! I mainly like to stick to the old horror movies. The originals. Some of my favorites are...The Birds, Christine, Nightmare on Elm Street, Kujo, Dracula from the 40's and Child's Play. Of course, I love many other old scary movies, but those are some examples. I do like some comedy's as well. Such as, Bruce Almighty, Liar Liar, and more of that type. My number 1 favorite movies are scary movies, but my number 2 favorites are anything where cars are the main subject of the movie. Cars are a HUGE passion of mine. Like such movies as, Fast and the Furious...etc.

Favorite Television

As much as I love TV, I don't get to watch it much at all. But if I get that rare chance to sit and watch something, I really enjoy Prison Break, Criminal Minds, House, Nip/Tuck, anything on Discovery Health, Horders, Intervention and the Speed channel.

Comment: We LOVE small town loving. The only drawback is with no stores in the immediate area, you better make sure you have enough tooth paste and toilet paper to last until you head into the city again! lol

Comment: My 14yo daughter is a horror flick lover too, myself not so much, while I can watch the SAW movies I can't watch real suspense horror, gives me nightmares for weeks! Germany is on my list of countries to visit but not at the top, the top is India. My soon to be 17yo son and my 14yo daughter are Army cadets with my 17yo hoping to join after he finishes school so one day I could very well have an Army wife as my daughter in law :D Thank you for your wonderful comments :)

Hi Amy, Hello from snowy Alabama, welcome to swap bot, it is fun making new friends on here. You sound so talented, making bows and other sewing, I used to before I had to get bifocals. I admire you saying you are a Christian, so many people on here are non religious, which is their business. Just watched Kujo recently, still like it.. I don't know anything about cars either, don't even pump gas..... Hope you have a great year, and Happy Swapping... SWAP: read my profile and leave a comment..

My goodness you are very busy ! My MIL was a career marine corp wife and she loved the military more than my FIL. She loved all the friends she met and all the traveling they got to do. -Speaking of ahir bows and tutus -do you have an etsy shop? also I have seen many little baby's photos being taken with their tutus on -adorable !! We have four boys so hairbows and tutu's have never even gotten through our front door well the hair flowers have for me--I like anything girly :-) I wish I knew more about cars --I do not know one thing about them nor does my husband so we give our mechanic a lot of easy business. -Seeing you like Ed Hardy -I was just at Target and they have soo many cute items that are Ed Hardy -your children and you would like . Ahh Scary movies -Your my kind of friend -our Halloween decorations were actually pictures I printed out and put in frames of different scenes from the birds -I saw that movie when I was way to young and have been scafred ever since -our boys think it is so hookie -I love the SAW movies now and the one where they kept calling up the babysitter all evening THose are so scary --Dial M for murder is a goddie too --Even Twilight zone the old show is good -have you ever seen any of those? I have an interesting fact on Dean koontz -he did his undergrad at Shippensburg University in my home town and he had an english professor that told him he would never be an kind of writer =lol Some of his books at times are based in the Shippensburg area that's in Pennsylvania --I loved his dog Trixie -We have the book that trixie wrote too :-) Have a wonderful day , Kathy ( sharingink) MAKE A COMMENT ON YOUR PROFILE SWAP

"READ MY PROFILE AND COMMENT SWAP" Hi ArmyWifey11, Making hair bows is not something common on swap-bot, that's unique. Do not get me started on Winnie the Pooh, never liked him, he sounds like an old man who is border-line senile. How can a creature so stupid be so loved by all? I also have an unhealthy liking for scary movies, but I ashamed to that I have never read a Stephan King Novel. I grew up on Disney, so I love all the classic Disney movies, not the recent stuff so much. -Welcome -Ashby

"READ MY PROFILE AND COMMENT SWAP" - Hello 11 - Nice to meet you. You sound like a younger version of myself. My husband recently retired from the army after 27 years of service. We both continue to give service as civilians as it is in our blood. May your husband always return home safe in mind and body and may you always have strength to do what you need to do. :)
