I'm mom to 5 grown kids and a few furbabies. I'm either MeMa or Oma to 10 grandkids (6 girls and 4 boys). I have been making my own greeting cards for 5+ years now. In the last few years I have got interested in doing other paper crafts (ie: artist trading cards, pocket letters, 3D projects, mixed media), I have done a few atcs and a few pocket letters.
I like to listen to all kinds of music with the exception of some Rap. Some of those songs I just don't care for some of the lyrics but love the beat of the music.
Mysteries are my most favorite kind of book to read. The more suspend the better! :-) Of course, I do enjoy reading other kinds of book as well, provided that they catch my interest within the first few chapters. Some of my favorite authors are James Patterson, Stephen King, Nora Roberts and a few others.
Some other crafts I enjoy doing are crocheting and plastic canvas. Although cardmaking and other paper crafts are my most favorite to work on.
As I mentioned earlier I'm mom to a few furbabies. I have a great love for animals, which I have passed down to my children. Right now I shared my home with one minature poodle, Opal, and a maltipoo, Athena, four cats, DR, Tigger, Minou, and White Oak's Ghost Angel (aka Ghost) and two rabbits, Bronco Brownie and Little Ladybun.
The colors I like are purple, pink, turquoise and red-black together. I do like all the others but these are my favorites.
I like almost everything! The things I love are pegasus, unicorns, fairies, mermaids, and animals (ie: cats, dogs, horses, parrots, and rabbits, are my favorites. As far as dislikes go...well, if something is done in a tasteful way then more then likely I will like it. 🙂
I have two favorite holidays....Halloween and Christmas. I love to decorate for both holidays although now I don't decorate as much as I once did for Halloween. One reason is the area we are living in now don't get trick or treaters for some reason. Not sure if it's against the rules in our trailer park or what. I still put up a few things inside the house though. Guess I'm still a kid at heart. lol Now when it comes to Christmas and decorations....if I can figure out how to put it out or up it's a done deal! LOL That's both inside and outside. But that's not my only reason for loving Christmas. My other reason is the general feeling of joy that this season seems to bring out in people. Of course, I love seeing all the lights and hearing Christmas music everywhere!
