We've (hubby dogs and I) have been living in rural NE Arkansas for 6 years. Before that we lived in El Paso TX for almost 4 years and New Jersey before that. Yes, hubby is retired Army and I am an Army brat/ex soldier myself lol We think our moving days are over HAR!

I never really crafted or had any hobbies until I quit my job about 7 years ago and got into making jewelry. I stumbled upon the wonderful world of eBay and became addicted. It started as a search for beads and findings (El Paso did not have much of a selection of bead stores)and transformed into a selling experience :-) I became friends with many of my customers and just loved it!!

I became fascinated with the process of making glass beads and with the direction of a couple of friends became a lampworker also. I do still light my torch from time to time lol

Another one of my "hobbies" is soapmaking. I do love to make soaps using the CP (Cold Process) method. We haven't brought a store bought soap into our house in over 2 years lol I went back to work a little over a year ago as I needed to get out of the house and don't have alot of time to dedicate to my "hobbies" but still get a chance from time to time to "create". I ADORE handmade/handcrafted items:-)

Vintage Swarovski crystals that I use in my jewelry making and my stash....err...collection.
