I am a 41 year old professional female. I live in Colorado. I am married to my husband of 10 years and we have many furry friends. No children. I love children as I work as a speech language pathologist and treat a number of special children. I live on a 10 acre farm where my husband and I raise birds of all kinds and provide animal rehabilitation to the best of our abilities. We have 4 dogs, 7 cats, 12 peacocks, 100 chickens, 10 pheasants and a few more little critters.
I love reading many kinds of books. Christian fiction and non-fiction are some of my favorites; I like the authors Francine Rivers, Liz Curtis Higgs.
I love mystery books and historical fiction and non-fiction.
Childrenรยดs literature. I collect childrenรยดs books, especially the classics; anything Laura Ingalls Wilder, Nancy Drew. I love all Eric Carle books, Margaret Wise Brown- Goodnight Moon, Paul Galdone, C.S. Lewis, Virginia Lee Burton - The Little House, wordless books. Children's literature is the backbone of my therapy to teach language, basic concepts, grammar and syntax and speech sounds. Kids love this especially when we tie in craft activities and games related to the story.
I love anything with Liam Neeson. I've been enjoying old John Wayne westerns and Clint Eastwood classics. I love Audrey Hepburn, Jimmy Stewart, Grace Kelly as well.
I'm very artsy and crafty but haven't applied outside of work for a while. I am liking the Dotee type stuff. I've made Ukranian Easter Eggs and things with feathers since I have and abundance of eggs and feathers. I like Native American type stuff but also feminine and pretty as well. I'm pretty good at drawing and can do quite well if I apply myself.
I love all animals. We've resuced a lot and given some homes. I love our Pomeranians and I have a Great Pyrenees too. Border Collies are awesome and I also love the Havanese.
Reading, Gardening, crocheting, crafts and recently I've taken up food preservation.
Prairie or farm based, primitives, vintage. I like unique jewelery. I like anything with sage or lilac colored, bugs, birds. I love the homesteading lifestyle and anything realted to pioneering days, Little House on the Prairie, Children's books. Thoughtful and homemade things, coffee, tea, bookmarks, dotee dolls
