Chocopan

Hi! I'm a 26 yo office worker from Finland, currently studying my second degree in university and working full time! In my free time I like to write letters, do papercrafts, decorate my planner, read and watch Netflix. I love Japanese idols, k-pop and c-pop (though I still know very little about Chinese music outside of the few shows I've seen!). I mostly read mystery novels, I like old-fashioned and classic mysteries and historical novels when they aren't too serious - I don't need realism, a more romantic angle works well for me.

My favorite jpop groups are Hinatazaka46, BEYOOOOONDS, Johnny's groups and Sakurazaka46. Kpop favorites, even though I'm not as big of a fan as I used to be, are fromis_9, BTS, Weki Meki, and IN2IT. From cpop I only know/like INTO1, Nine Percent and Rocket Girls.

My literature favorites are Swedish mystery novels - The Millenium Thrilogy is my all time favorite book (series), Terry Pratchett's Discworld series, and a random collection of other books, such as Q & A by Vikas Swarup, Steinbeck's The Grapes of Wrath and Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides. I looooove sweets and junk food (trying to balance it out by doing sports and eating healthy most of the time...) I also love baking!

At the moment I mostly decorate my planner - I used it for both keeping up with daily tasks and some slight memory planning.

I crochet and knit, I'm currently crocheting a quilt. It's the second one I've made, I love crocheting granny squares :)

Mail art and paper crafts of all kind: flipbooks, pocket letters, hoop mail...

Things I like to receive, swap or buy for myself:

• stickers and washi - I use these both in my planner and in mail art
• any planner accessories - as I said, I decorate my planner, so planner related stuff is most welcome!
• die cuts
• scrapbooking paper - scraps as well as bigger pieces
• enamel dots, brads, dimensional stickers like diamonds etc
• note pad sheets and small cards for writing notes to go with my swaps
• Japanese stationery, stickers, washi... I love everything cute, stuff from Daiso, Seria and Can Do, as well as Mind Wave, MT, Masté, Bande... Pretty much everything haha
• Characters I like: Snoopy and Peanuts, Sumikko Gurashi, Rilakkuma, Moomin, Ghibli films' characters (especially Jiji, Cat Bus and Totoro), pretty much all cute Japanese characters except for Hello Kitty
• sequin mixes or sequins in general - I love adding shaker pockets or cards to my crafts but for some reason making sequin mixes is super hard for me D: so if you have a spare one or like making them I'd be super duper grateful!
• postcards; I love art postcards most, like postcards with pictures of artwork, but also like other illustrated cards and in general just stuff that is pretty; I prefer getting my postcards naked with a pretty stamp, unless the swap calls for something else, of course. I don't collect stamps or anything but I enjoy looking at them and seeing what kind of stamps other countries have :D

Themes and styles I like:

• Japanese style stuff, both cutesy and the more traditional stuff
• Maggie Holmes
• Halloween, Christmas and Valentine's day
• seasonal things
• favorite colors are baby pink, yellow and pastel colors in general, though I do like bright colours too
• retro/vintage style Disney characters, especially aliens from toy story)
• animals and nature
• houses, cities, trains, bicycles...
• humans, especially in stickers (love the styles of La Dolce Vita, Pion, Meowmeowstar etc)
• all big planner brands (MAMBI, Heidi Swapp, Prima, Recollections...)

Stuff I don't like:

• Vintage style
• supplies targeted at children (like stickers with characters from kids' cartoons etc, unless mentioned on my things I like list)
• icons, as in Planner stickers that are just very simplistic pictures of garbage cans, utensils, cars etc.
• sticky notes/post-its
• getting money in swaps; if any way possible please don't send me any currency! I simply don't know what to do with that stuff (besides the obvious of course)

I love hot chocolate! I don't drink coffee and I've only recently started to drink tea. I don't really care for white tea, but I love fruity teas, mint tea and green tea, especially Japanese green tea. Other Japanese teas are also great, as I first started to drink tea in Japan :)

I don't have any allergies but don't care for stuff that tastes like alcohol (like chocolates with alcohol filling) or plain dark chocolate - it's fine if it's mixed with some other flavors like mint or nuts though!

I love, love, love chocolate! All kinds of chocolate, it can be plain or filled with something or mixed with fruit or nuts... I also like sweets, soft ones more than hard ones, but almost anything goes, really :) Salty/savory snacks are cool too, but if I had to choose I'd definitely pick sweet!
