I am a married Mom with two great kids, ages 22 and 17. My husband and I have been married for 23 years. We were married on St. Valentine's Day! We are all vegetarian. Our daughter recently became vegan. Our children have been veggies since birth. We have three dogs, although one of them is technically our son's. I am a teacher who loves to read, craft and ride my Harley. I LOVE all things Hawaii, especially the Big Island!

I love murder and medical mysteries, especially the Kay Scarpetta series. I thoroughly enjoyed the Twilight and True Blood series of books. Some of my all-time favorite books are Summer of My German Soldier, The Outsiders and Thurston House. I also just read Water for Elephants, recommended on a Book Swap. Fantastic book!

My favorite movies are Dirty Dancing, Air Force One, Kindergarten Cop, Forrest Gump, The Outsiders and My Big, Fat Greek Wedding. More recent favorites include Twilight, New Moon, Gran Torino and Edge of Darkness.

This is a long list...Survivor, Amazing Race, Ugly Betty, The View, Big Love, Desperate Housewives, the CSI franchise, Nip/Tuck and the Law and Orders, especially SVU.

I love scrapbooking and paper crafts. As a teacher with limited art supplies, I am quite crafty with paper crafts for my students, especially crafts involving paper plates.

I like/love... Hawaii, Harleys, crafting, reading, television, Mel Gibson, Clint Eastwood, trivia, learning about religions (I'm Catholic), Pepsi, the NY Mets, Victorian houses and Victorian decorating, the colors purple and black, acknowledging holidays (Merry Christmas, Happy Easter...)...

I dislike... animal cruelty, environmental pollution, political correctness, exercise, excuses, liars, people who don't pull their own weight, procrastinators, anything to do with the devil or demons, anti-religion things, thinking that's too liberal and gives people an excuse to blame others and...
