About Me

I'd love to find a penpal/penpals for my 7 yr old daughter. Someone close to her age would be best.

I'm very excited to start swaping! I've seen so many polymer swap videos and they seem so fun!

About Me: Height: 5' 2", Weight: usually about 140, Eyes: blue, Hair: assorted browns and golds,

Allergies: oranges, carrots and vit. C

I am engaged to a fantastic man, i have a 7yr old girl and a baby girl who was born in January. I have boarder collie/ lab X, 2 ferrets, and 2 goldfish,

NOTE: if you are allergic to cats, you may be allergic to ferrets. Please tell me if that could be a problem. I'd hate to make anyone misrable due to ferret hair.

I Love

I love my family, though I'm sure that's no use when trying to theme things. But still, I do a lot.

I adore goldfish and goldfish themed things. I am slightly partial to black moors.

I have a strange obsession with office supplies. I don't know anyone else who gets as excited about computer paper, pens and paperclips like I do. . . . . . I have a $16 ruler.

I adore anything smallier than it's supposed to be! I love minatures but I go all girly about little ketchups or travel sized shampoos

I love deep purple and blues.

I enjoy fantastically bright art.

I am a medieval and si fi nerd who runs tabletop role playing games.

I LOVE skills! Anyone who can do something is awesome in my book. I love to meet glassblowers, storytellers, knitters, crocheters, farmers, artists, gymnists, animal keepers and such!

Favorite Crafts

Making polymer clay minis ( 1/6 scale or "Barbie sized" food is my favorite to make.)

Painting (I use acrylic paints but I'd love to try milk paints. I do doll repaints and I also use canvases of all sorts.)

Knitting ( Again, I love doing miniature knitting, but I can do life sized crafts like sweaters and pot holders.)

Sewing ( I hand sew and use a sewing machine.) Caring for my many beasts

Favs

Colors: darker blues and purples,

Art Styles: Surrealistic Realism (Frank Frazetta, Boris Vallejo and Julie Bell, Brian Froud) Sumi ink, Chibi style, Silent Hill colors and textures (flesh colored with blood reds and browns)

Characters: L from Death Note, Toki from Dethclock, V from V for Vendetta, Wash from Firefly, Rev Bem from Andromeda, Beast from the Disney cartoon Beauty and the Beast, The Chest with Feet from Terry Pratchett's Diskworld Series, Bubastus from the Watchmen, Mister Echo from Lost,

Books: Illusions by Richard Back, The Watchmen

Movies: V for Vendetta, Stranger than Fiction, The Princess Bride, Young Frankenstein, How to Train Your Dragon

Shows: Adventure Time, Boston Legal

Teas: ANY mints! Camomile, vanilla, green, white. (I'm not picky but I'm allergic to oranges) Sock size: 8-9, I love toe socks!,

Paints: I prefer the bottles of paint over the "toothpaste tubes." All colors are appreciated, although I run out of purple the fastest.

Yarns: sport weight, lace weight, spiderweb weights. I tend to really enjoy the weird yarns, like the bumpy kinds or weird materials like bamboo or mohair. Size 3 or less needles. ( they get lost soooo easily)

Polymer clay: I love Primo and Fimo brands equally and I can always use the translucent and Ecru colors.

Other: cheap dog toys, I adore 1/6 scale or "Barbie size" miniatures! I like findings, like buttons, tiny metal links, sequins and paperclips. The tinier the better!

Please don't send: Dog toys with ropes or a bunch of knots, (My dog has OCD and it drives him nuts) High sugar edibles, Lots of pastel colored things, Any big apparel items (I'm growing a baby so I'm not quite my size right now) small things like socks are fine.

I Can Make . . .

Polymer goods ( beads, miniatures or charms such as food, babies, kawaii style food, shoes and shoe soles, tiny beads, tiny faces, personalized medallions, . . . More upon request or inspiration)

I sew both life size and Barbie size things

Knitted goods ( dishcloths, potholders, scarves, I do knit large things like blankets, sweaters, pants, bags, shrugs ext, HOWEVER these take a very long time. Should you want a large knitted item please keep in mind that it will likely take me at least a month. )

Paintings (I've done portraits, fan art, landscapes, impressionistic.)

Framing (message me for details.)

Story writing ( I've taken lots of parenting classes and children's story classes. Also I'm a technical difficulty away from having my first novel published, and I'm working on at least 2 more currently.)

I would love to trade with

Someone who does miniature glass blowing

Someone who does miniature porcelain or ceramics

Someone who would help me learn Japanese

Other polymer clay makers

Anyone who could heat seal tiny packages!

My Family

My daughter, Amirra Veto, is 6 yrs old. She adores The color purple Iron Man (both cartoon and live action) My Little Ponies, Friendship is magic (Twilight is her favorite) The movie Cars Barbies Painting

My Fiance, Dan Kimerly, likes Silent Hill (the first, second and fourth) Maroon H. R. Geiger (Images not for the sensitive!!) Bats Strange imagery (huge smile, Iz from the Max, things without eyes) Interesting or strange creatures or plants

My dog Dante or Puppy likes Frisbees Stuffies (he can't stand seams and inevitably pulls all the the strings out of his toys.) Chew Sticks

Comment: I would love to visit the Enchanted Forest in Oregon too someday! I just love fairytales :) But I'm scared of haunted houses too so I don't think I'll be going into any of that haha! Thanks for sharing!
Response: Thanks! It's a really cute place. Looking back I think the scarist thing about the haunted house is that it's so old. Some of the maniquins are falling apart!

I've just read your profile a little more closer and your not a member of the Fun Children's Swap group which is why you don't have access to our group forum. Only members are able to read group forum posts.
