I'm here because I like to craft, I started with flip books, then tried letter wallets, envelope flip books, pocket letters, zines, accordion wallets, handmade junk journals and postcards and so far only one ATC. I'm currently enjoying neutral ephemera.
I like to try new crafts but mainly with a paper craft theme.
I saw a YouTube video of a lady making snail mail and she mentioned the website. I love to send things to people to lift their day; Happy Mail. When I heard about Swap-bot I suddenly realised there was a whole world of people that like to do the same thing and I couldn't wait to join.
YouTubers I watch: -
My Interests: I pick up different crafts and run with them for a few months, always dipping back into previous crafts. I like to film sometimes and upload it to my YouTube channel.
My Likes: Positive things, helpful things, well co-ordinated colour themes, useful things.
Me: I am a tall gal, 6'1" and have always felt like I don't quite fit in, from when I was at play-group, to School and then in the workplace. I am the odd one out, but once people get to know me they realise I'm there to help.
My Faith: Yes I have a faith, let's just say it is 'with me, in me and for me'.
Anyway, that's all I think you really need to know about me for now, but message me if you want any specifics for a direct swap etc.
Take care and remember 'be-leaf In Yourself' xx
I've started to like the neutral colours that Jordan Clark uses in her blogs, and @softlystudio uses, very calming and minimalistic tones and vibes: whites, creams, light buff browns, glassine papers or papers with interesting textures like homemade paper etc, tea/coffee dyed papers in lighter softer tones, translucent vellum,
I also like watercolours, again in pastel colours, Pastel Pink, Mint Green, Pale Beige/neutrals.
Brown Bears, long haired blonde Dachsunds, Polar Bears, Squirrels, Racoons, not limited to these, and my tastes always change.
My new fav' is Turkish Sweet Apple Tea, I cannot buy this anywhere now [sad face here].
Others I like are Breakfaat Tea, Chai Latte, Caramel Coffee, Vanilla Coffee, Cake flavoured Green Teas.
I'm not big on fruit teas but I'll try 'Strawberries & Cream' Tea, Yum!
Dislikes: nettle, licorice, fruit teas or cold teas.
Watercolour papers, or unusual papers even just scrap pieces. Lace offcuts or Vellum. Small neutral toned beads for making paperclips or journal danglies; those tiny beads which stop the larger beads falling off the thread. :oP
