If I am your partner in a swap or I have done a private trade with you and you don't receive it in the time allotted according to the postal service (we know how that can be at times) I will get in contact with you after I feel enough time has past for you to receive it, but please get in contact with me as well if you feel you should have received it. I will make sure to correct it and send out another.
I have been trading mail art and other items since 2005. I mostly trade ATCs but would like to expand my trades to include Surprise package swaps...sounds fun!
My ATCs are mostly hand drawn, illustration style. I make up my own characters. I also work on collage style ATCs.
I have also participated in swaps that have included altered postcards, art journals (2 different ones that never arrived home, other players flaked on them, so a bit leery with that type of swap right now), Art paper dolls, 4"x4"'s, tags, inchies, fabric ATCs.
Books that have to do with collage, since it is something I need to expand more in :) I also enjoy magazines like Cloth Paper Scissors and Sommerset Studio I think it's called.
I love sewing, embroidery, cooking, and of course anything to do with mail art...ATCs, altered postcards, art journals, Art paper dolls with moveable joints, illustration and hand drawn work.
I also enjoy the unusual crafts...like not your typcial scarf, but those scarves usually done with recycled items..something I haven't done. I also love when ones upcycle or recycle sweaters to make a soft toy out of it...I think it is awesome...I have yet to try, but admire those that can. Or even knitting or crocheting...I don't know how, but some knitters and crocheters are so talented with the adorable toys and cool scarfs and hats they create.
Themes for ATCs, postcards, paper dolls etc., that I look to trade for are: Alice in Wonderland, Cats (hand drawn, collage, etc.), Whimsical characters, Zetti, Hand drawn or painted, vintage children, In the Style of Picasso, Hearts
Wish List: Blank ATCs (Bristol or Watercolor paper preferably) to do more hand drawn work.
Love pens and markers..sharpies, micron, gelly pens, etc., Mica flakes any color, glitter, glass glitter, beeswax to seal some of my collage work, Somerset Studio, and Cloth Paper Scissors magazines.
I also love loose teas or bagged (no Earl Grey), unusual scarves, hand crafted soft toys made out of recycled fabrics or sweaters, books about collage, stationary (cute, modern, or vintage), book bags, small vintage toys. Love stuff with cat images, like paintings, stickers, stationary, and cat plush toys, vintage/antique ephemera, and items that are made as mentioned in the Admire section above.
