I have recently returned to Swap Bot after a two-year hiatus while I finished my master’s degree. During this time I amassed a large collection of washi tapes and wanted to mark my return by hosting a washi swap.
When checking postmarks I'm usually in the future compared to most swappers (cool, huh?) That means the postmark will not match the send date assigned by Swap-Bot. The postmark will always be 1 day ahead due to the international date line. :)
Envelopes only, please âœ‰ï¸ Anything larger than an envelope will be sent to customs and notice to pick it up usually arrives too late. I only sign up for swaps that fit in an envelope for this reason. Thanks for your understanding. 🙂
Delivery time As of 2018, it seems the average for a swap to arrive in North America is about 4 weeks.
If you do not receive a swap from me, please message me!
I learned about swap-bot when I was looking for ideas on interesting things I could send to my penpals. :) I'm not new to snail-mail--I had been using Postcrossing on-and-off for 4 years when I signed up for Swap Bot, but now I mainly focus on my pen pals.
I am a teacher/cat mom/cat fosterer who lives in Shenzhen, China with my husband. I am originally from Canada, but have been living in China for the past seven years.
I've been crafting for as long as I can remember. I was my maternal grandmother's only granddaughter (out of 9 grandchildren) and often crafted with her while the boys got up to trouble.
I would best describe myself as a dabbler as my work commitments keep me busy. I've recently been dabbling in
I love to visit the little shops in my city looking for adorable stationery items--I have an entire drawer full that, until now, I wasn't sure how to use. I'm sure I can everything I've collected to good use now.
I love receiving any and all mail--I check my mailbox every day! However,if you need some ideas about what I might especially enjoy, here are some hints.
I, by no means, expect any of my wishes to be fulfilled, so don't feel any pressure about what to send--I'm thrilled just by seeing an envelope or postcard waiting for me. :)
There isn't much I don't like, but there are a few things I think would be put to better use by being sent to someone else.
If you're involved with a food-related swap with me, I am vegetarian (I eat dairy products and eggs) and I don't drink coffee!
Things I am always prepared to swap include:
If you are interested in a private swap please send me a message.
