About me... I live in Canada and am in my early (very early) thirties. My first language is French, but I speak English fluently. I'm a language fanatic! I can understand Spanish and Italian, and know a bit of Danish. I'm currently learning German.
My favorite two hobbies are writing (letters, novels) and reading. In the last year I got into paper crafting (flipbooks and pocket letters, mainly) and cross stitching.
Some other things I enjoy doing are coloring, singing, hiking, playing computer and video games, swapping (of course!) and watching TV series.
I prefer to reading crime/mystery novels and chick lit. Really, I'll read anything that can hold my attention and I like the occasional historical fiction, true stories, and paranormal.
Some of my favorite authors are Sophie Kinsella, Kathy Reichs, Yrsa Sigurdaddotir, and Camilla Läckberg, to a name a few.
Amélie Dubois is my favorite French Canadian author.
I watch a lot of Netflix, mainly sitcoms and crime shows.
Sitcoms: How I Met Your Mother, Big Bang Theory, Full House, Fuller House, Friends, 2 Broke Girls, Scrubs, One Day at a Time
Other shows: Castle, Bones, Ghost Hunters, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Forensic Files, Gilmore Girls, My First Home
When it comes to paper crafting, I'm more into pocket letters and flipbooks.
I sometimes dabble in scrapbooking, but I usually don't have much time to pursue that hobby.
I've been participating in swaps on Facebook for about a year and a half now, and am recently new to Swapbot. Some things I like swapping are:
When it comes to music, I like a large variety of singers and bands. However, I tend to gravitate more often towards pop or pop-rock music.
Some of my favorite singers/bands are Garou, Alex Nevsky (both French Canadian), Meghan Trainor, and Celine Dion.
I've been practicing penpalling for many, MANY years. Lost track of how many years it's been since I started.
Though I am not actively searching for new pen pals, I'm opened to participating in swaps to meet potential new pen pals.
