Hello!

I'm a creative writer, visual designer, amateur DIY/crafty explorer, traveler, bookworm, and semi-geek! I'm in my late 20s, currently working as an administrative assistant in a financial office where I learn a lot about money.

In school, I studied English and furthered my studies by doing a Visual Communications degree. If I ever go back, I might do an International Studies type of degree next time.

I love food and trying new cuisines/restaurants. I prefer swimming as my favorite way to exercise and stay physically fit, although I run about 3 miles once a week at a beach near to me. I love to dance, though I don't know how to (so it's more like I dance when no one's looking) and one day hope to take classes in line dancing, ballroom, pole, and a little of hip-hop type.

My absolute favorite music are soundtracks from movies and musicals/theatrical shows.

I like a whole bunch of other things but my taste is kind of eclectic. I'm NOT a huge fan of rap although I like specific songs sometimes. Oh, and I hate Chinese opera to death.

Obviously, there is a whole range of things out there I want to explore more and try, but things do get expensive, I have to say so I am taking it slow. I also have a build up of materials that I'd like to use up or get rid of first so to not just keep buying and not working on projects.

Some projects I have planned for 2013: -memory boxes for gifts -designing a calendar for 2014 -making an air plant terrarium for my desk -smoky amethyst pendant necklace -citrine bracelet -leather-wrapped bracelet -mixed media board for my room -art decor for the apartment -DIY mugs (decorating plain ones) -DIY scarves (quotes scribbled all over)
