I have always done all sorts of artistic and creative things and for over 16 years I designed and produced handmade artist teddy bears. (Hence the Bearaphanalia....:) I was the first Canadian artist to be invited to participate at the Walt Disney World Teddy Bear and Doll convention. You can still see some of the "kids" on my website.

I have also had a love affair with anything paper (must be that legal secretarial background!) and have done a LOT of scrapbooking, even selling for a major scrapbooking direct sales company. Recently card making has taken over and I have just discovered ATC's!

Most recently life has not been kind or fair. Hubby of 20 yrs. told me he no longer loved me and wanted to "be alone" which in this case meant with a younger bimbo he met in Facebook. It will be a year at Christmas...not really looking forward to it. Three weeks after that I was diagnosed with cancer, had the operation, flat lined for 5 min. due to an allergy to the anaesthetic and ended up with 3 broken ribs, almost 2 months of daily radiation, radiation burn that has finally healed, no job and no income due to my age most likely.

OK don't want to be a downer now, so as far as I know the cancer is gone and I LOVE making ATC's and cards and would love to do matchboxes if I could figure out where to get them.

I am very excited about doing the swaps!

ROCK and ROLL!!! is my favorite but anything (NO COUNTRY!) that has a good beat is ok.

Oh boy, where to start! I LOVE reading and read voraciously. So many books, so little time. Favorite authors are Piers Anthony (I really enjoy fantasy and science fiction) as well as Robin Cook for his medical dramas, and Diane Gabaldon, and and and and....

The Fifth Element, anything with Arnold Schwarzenegger, Nicholas Cage, Vin Diesel (yes, I really am female! :)

Paper arts, sewing, quilting, anything where I can let my creativity go!

I LOVE DOGS!!! I used to breed and show West Highland White Terriers and Standard Schnauzers. I am without a furry friend right now due to my situation, but once things are figured out I hope I can get one. I so miss all that love and those puppy kisses, My little soulmate had to be put down last year at only 3 yrs. old, after we spent literally thousands of dollars on treatments and specialists to help with his skin condition. In the end he did not have a moment's rest from all the scratching, leaving me with no choice. I still sleep with his collar under my pillow. The ex has his sister.

Now tbere is a loaded question....it would be easier to ask what I don't like! OK here goes...
