I like Kolja, too although it is very sad, I think and I cannot watch it anymore...
Obchod na korze is a Czechoslovak movie because at that time it was made in Czechoslovakia and we cannot say it was purely Czech or Slovak as we were one country...
Two of my favorite movies are Czech... well one is for sure Czech, I think the other is Slovak. Kolya stole my heart and the lead actor sort of reminds me of Sean Connery, but earthier and more fun, and the other one is Obchod na korze (Shop on Main Street). Beautiful, funny and sad.
hii, ^.^
just letting you know i sent off your indie mix cd's today so they should get there in a few days i guess.
hope you enjoy them! i had a lot of fun making them, and a looot of trouble narrowing down my list haha.
i also included quite a few local australian bands in there too, so hopefully there's some new stuff that you havent heard [and hopefully will like]

Hey Joy, I'm so happy :-) I guess you can rate me now, only two types of ratings are available later but please take your time and enjoy especially the Czech Nevinná song :-)
Hugs,
E.
