I am 59 years old and have lived in Australia most of my life. I am Scottish born. I have 3 daughters and six grand daughters.
I worked as a receptionist for an Employment service for over 6 years and lost that job over two years ago. I share my home with two feline companions. I love music that is easy on the ear, reading romance and thrillers, and writing letters and stories.
I have tattoos and several ear piercings. I am Wiccan and very much into anything new age. I like making jewellery and learning new ways to decorate my letters and envelopes. Over 18 months ago I began to experience depression and as a result my life changed considerably. Writing letters was always my main passion but since the "black dog" took control I don't write anywhere near as much as I used too. To keep myself busy now I knit throw rugs for friends and family and I love to colour pictures for adults. I am spending time gardening, something I never really got into previously. I do apologise to anyone that has written to me in the past. I am doing my best to get back to letter writing but it is a work in progress and so am I.
