I am a 29 year old wife and mother of two, a boy aged 4 and a girl aged 1. At the moment I am a stay at home mom and I really like to be able to spend so much time with my kids.

We live in a town approximately 60 km from Amsterdam in the Netherlands.

I am member of a dutch sewing forum, and a lot of its members have a blog to show what they are making. Already a few times I read about swapping on several blogs and it sounds like real fun to me. So I decided to make an account here at Swap-Bot and start swapping too. I realize that I am a newbie and I hope that there are people who will confide in me and let me take part in their swaps.

I am not really in to movies, simply because i have tons of other things to do in the evening when the kids are sleeping. But ever since i''ve first seen Pride and Prejudice (the BBC version) starring Colin Firth, he has become my favourite actor. So every movie he is playing in is worth watching.

Since a few months I am learning to sew. I have always been fascinated by how my mother could turn a piece of fabric in to something beautiful to wear. And now I am a mom myself and feel the desire to create beautiful clothing for my children, especially for my little girl. I have a blog (see my website) where you can see some of the things I made. Unfortunately it is written in Dutch, but the images will give you some idea.

Besides sewing I also like knitting, crocheting and embroidering.

• a fresh cup of tea early in the morning, in the afternoon, late at night, or at anytime to be honest.
• all sort of fabrics, since I started sewing I have become a little bit addicted to buying fabric.
• playing in the garden with my two kids. It makes me feel so happy to see them playing together.

• soccer, and in particularly all the violence that seems to must be connected to it. I really don't understand why people feel they have to fight each other over some stupid game.
