In 2012 there were a few rough patches for me that ultimately took me away from Swap-Bot and other real life commitments. All of the swaps I previously missed have since been closed. I have contacted anyone still active in attempts to fulfill the old swaps, but not everyone has responded. There was no ill intention. I signed up for swaps with the full intention of fulfilling them. After a couple years now of missing Swap-Bot and this creative outlet, I'm hoping to slowly rejoin this community.

Anywho, about me. I'm 31 years old, MSW student interning at a Hospice. I have two cats (Swoop & Sparrow) who I'm obsessed with. I love sending mail, journaling and collaging, playing video games, reading, cross stitching, doing the newspaper puzzles, watching YouTube videos, and following the news and politics (though I don't intend to mix news/politics here).

I will adore any postcard. It's all about getting something in the mail. For some reason everything just seems a little more special when it comes from someplace and someone else.

There of course a few favorites:

-Artwork (famous art or from a museum, or original art, local art, whatever)

-Space related (NASA, space programs, astronauts, celestial objects)

-Single View (especially of popular tourist attractions, or with name of city or state or country; scenery; buildings)

-Handmade (photography especially, but collages and everything else is good too)

X Not a fan of Christmas cards, at least not during the summer. Wait for Christmastime.

-Book recommendations

-Cool postage stamps (used or new)

-Deco Tape or Washi Tape

-Food (pictures, recipes, whatever; I love all food pretty much, sweet and savory, no allergies, it's all good.)

-Mail-Art (if you're feeling up to it, decorate!)

-Music recommendations

-Postcards, handmade stuff, collages, ATC's, zines/minizines

-Puzzles and brain teasers

-Science related stuff (especially astronomy, outer space, dark matter, black holes, etc.) Whether it's a magazine article, pictures of the night sky, pictures of science looking stuff, or questions or conversation starters in your letter or postcard, whatever.

-TV and movie references (especially if they're from my favorites)
