I am the wearer of many hats, one being mad quilter. I have 2 almost grown up boys. We live in rural Australia near the Snowy Mountains. We are keen skiers and ski in Japan when we can. I am expereince enhanced (that means old but I am in denial about that). I am a very technical person and have numbers in my head, In a past life I was an engineer. Now I play at being a builder and website designer. I love my bag of "boy's" tools (drill, circular saw, jigsaw etc) almost as much as my sewing machines. I am a bit green and do what is practicable to be environemental. I really dislike being wasteful. IMO everything is about balance and compromise. I have participated in quite a few Flickr swaps for mini quilts and quilt blocks
Mainly I quilt but also sew and dabble in many other crafts I have an out of control fabric stash that I am slowly reducing. Current quilting obsessions are cats, trees, tessellations and improvisation. Other crafts I dabble in include knitting, all types of sewing, spinning, weaving. Common theme is fibres. I also want to try some felting when I get time - LOL! Occasionaly I do some rough carpentry.
This section is a work in progress and will probably take a while to fill out Like Snow Cold weather Food Green Terry Pratchet

Includes all sorts of stuff such as linen, cutlery, crockery, stamps, wrapping paper with the lodge name on it,....and much more. If you are interested in any of this let me know.
