Hello, my name is Penny and I have been sewing since August and have fallen head over heels with Patchwork and Quilting. I am married to Alan, I have 2 children a stepson and 5 grandchildren. We have two cats who as you can guess are thoroughly spoilt. I enjoy taking pictures of the beautiful landscape and seascape in Cornwall where I live. I love Batiks and Moda or similar jelly rolls, charm packs and layercakes as the colour choices have been made for me. it takes me ages to choose which colours go with what. Favourite colours would be Autumn Shades and I love Purple and Teal, most colours but I really dislike PINK. (as a block colour) I'm not keen on fabrics that are stretchy or too thick!! I have really enjoyed making the Farmers blocks and found some easy and other really hard. I have tried to do most and as yet have not failed, although a few have taken a couple of go's to get right. I really enjoyed doing Jenny (got all points on point) and Jewel. I PP Jewel and it took me a couple of days, I really pleased with how she turned out. I have only done up to Jewel. I'm not going to say what I want as I will like what ever you send me in the swap. Maybe a photo of where you live with you family would be nice so I can picture you there.
