i was in texas recently! so sad to hear that 252 out of the 254 counties have been affected by fires this year! such drought - as an aussie, we can definitely relate to!
i love taking photos of everythings too and learn how to do different crafts. it's so much fun!
i'm more of a non-fiction reader these days so i haven't heard of Kristen Hannah and her books.

As far as swapping and crafting, I think it is just like anything else in life, " The more you do it, The better you become" So don't give up, I love paper crafts and journals myself, But have since been learning more mediums since Swapbot. And I am not giving up..hahaha, Well Unless someone ever wants me to knit or something. I am bad at that.

I read that you're learning to craft. I did the same think 2 years ago. I decided to have a handmade Christmas and learned how to sew and crochet. I have lots of tutorials on my blog if you're needing some inspiration. I also recommend Stitch n Bitch to learn how to knit or crochet-they're super helpful!
Hi Danielle, I am so glad to be able to ask you for prayer & I pray all is well with you & your son, It is tough for mum's who are doing it alone. I know, my daughter did for many a year & is now again on her own with her daughter, her partner walked out after 11 years.
