I think I owe you a letter. I haven't been able to figure out who wrote last. I'll send you a pic of my craft room/desk and you'll understand why (and probably call the authorities on me). I'll write this week. ; )

HELLO! I'm not dead, I was just in the US. Just got home a couple of hours ago. Your* letter arrived, and I have answered it but I didn't quite manage to get it into the mailbox before I left**. But it will be on its way tomorrow. awesome poison ivy and ear infection, not laziness ***my son, not me, but I had to get him straightened out so we could all leave town in time.
Thank you for the wonderful hexagon mail. I love hexagons, how did you know? :) I thoroughly enjoyed reading your letter (and feeling the velvety Tomoe River goodness between my fingers). Haha. I will be commenting on the rest in my reply...many thanks for the happy mail, G!
I'm looking, I'm looking - but there's so much eye candy. That grey kitty, for just one example...I'll look some more, but my head might explode from calligraphy envy. No sweat about the journal, at all. Have a wonderfully relaxing long weekend in Tofino. So gorgeous there!
Hi!
I didn't realize they stopped teaching cursive! They taught us in school starting it grade 3, but they never really enforced it much, try as I might, my cursive is a sloppy mess after just a few words!!
Hey G! I'm glad the envie made it to you (one of these days, I'll manage to type your street address correctly!). Found the braille paper at Urban Source Alternative Art Supplies on Main St. in Vanc http://www.urbansource.bc.ca/. I don't get there as often as I'd like, but any visit is always filled with surprise finds. I've had some kraft braille paper sent to me by an awesome swapper - love this kind of stuff. Oh, and I'm not worthy but thank you for the compliments. I'm still smiling from the mail you sent me!!

And now I'm curious about Tomoe River paper. Wonder if Paper Ya carries it?
